This Privacy Policy describes how Helping Games ("we", "us") handles information in the mobile game Awakening Protocol (the "Game"). We designed the Game to collect the least amount of data possible. In practice this means: we do not run our own servers, we do not use advertising SDKs, we do not use analytics SDKs, and we do not sell or share personal data with anyone.

1. Data we collect

1.1 Data stored on your device

The Game stores the following data locally on your device only. It never leaves the device and we have no access to it:

This data is stored using Unity's PlayerPrefs and standard file storage inside the app's private data folder. Uninstalling the Game deletes all of it. You can also delete it from within the Game via Options → Reset Progress.

1.2 Data handled by Google Play Games Services

If you choose to sign in to Google Play Games Services (GPGS), Google may share the following with the Game so that leaderboards work:

When you complete a level, the Game submits your best time to the corresponding public leaderboard hosted by Google. The submitted value is only the numeric time; no personal information is attached.

Signing in to GPGS is optional. If you do not sign in, the Game is fully playable and no data is sent anywhere.

2. How we use your data

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, machine learning training, or any purpose other than operating the Game itself.

3. Third-party services

The Game integrates with the following third-party service:

The Game does not include advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, crash-reporting SDKs, social media SDKs, or in-app-purchase SDKs.

4. Data sharing

We do not sell, rent, trade or otherwise share any personal data with third parties. The only data that ever leaves your device is the numeric score you choose to submit to Google Play leaderboards.

5. Data retention and deletion

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the EU GDPR or the California CCPA), you may have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict the processing of your personal data. Because we do not collect personal data on our own servers, most of these rights are already satisfied by the local deletion options above and by Google's account controls. If you believe we hold data about you and you want us to act on it, contact us at the address below.

7. Children's privacy

The Game is rated PEGI 3 / ESRB Everyone and does not contain content targeted at children specifically. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If a parent or guardian believes their child has provided data through the Game, please contact us and we will work with Google to remove it.

8. Security

Communication with Google Play Games Services is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) by the Google SDK. Local data is stored inside the app's private storage, which is sandboxed by the Android operating system.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Game after a change means you accept the revised policy.
